The program examines mental health care at a systematic level and aims to train professionals to provide innovative and sustainable solutions to local communities. So far, we have trained almost 50 professionals in the past three years.
In this endeavour, I have been extremely fortunate to collaborate with thought leaders in the field of Child Mental Health and have had the priviledge in leading an exceptional team of 15 Harvard Medical School faculty members.
This program continues to thrive and I am honoured to watch our child mental health community grow and make a difference everyday.

A little bit more about me
I’ve written an award-winning bilingual children’s book based on an Arabic poem my father used to sing to me, for more information about ‘The Silent Nightingale’ click here
I am trained in Yoga and enjoy Pilates. I love travelling! From Havana to Mumbai I enjoy visiting new places and exploring different cultures. In my free time you can “find” me “lost” in a book. My idea of happiness is turning up the music in my kitchen and trying out a new recipe.
